On Saturday, 12th August 2023, the 13th edition of the ‘Aditya Memorial Quiz ‘was organized in the loving memory of Aditya ,an avid quizzer and a Loyolean with an indomitable spirit.The audience at Xaviers Institute of Management University witnessed the battle of sharp and enthusiastic minds from 27 schools. A volley of brain racking questions were asked by the ace quiz master Mr. Anirudh Choudhury and Mr. Anurag Samantaray on a myriad of topics. The participants displayed awareness, assiduity and agility in facing those questions in the energy packed show.Finally, after contesting through a series of mind boggling rounds DAV School, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar were the winners. They won a cash prize of Rs. 12,500/- The first runners up was the host school Loyola School, Bhubaneswar, winning a cash prize of Rs. 7,500/- and 2nd runners up being Blessed Sacrament School, Puri won a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- . There was also a special cash prize of Rs. 1000/- for each semi-finalist and finalist girl participant. There were a host of prizes for the audience too who actively and enthusiastically participated in the event.The occasion was graced by honourable Chief Guest, Mr. Debraj Pradhan, IFS (Retd), presently Director General International Relations at KIIT University, Mr. Mihir Sahu, founder partner of Anil Mihir, Mrs. Jayshree Sahu, member of Aditya Memorial Foundation, Mr. Ajit Srivastav, Director of Institute of Physics, Rector Fr. Augustine Ezhakunnel SJ, Fr. Arokia Das, Chief Finance Officer and Deputy Registrar, XIM University, Mrs. Nandita Pattanayak, Vice-Principal Senior Section & Sr. Esther Toppo, Vice Principal Junior Section Loyola School with their august presence.
