ଚେନ୍ନାଇ(ସମୃଦ୍ଧଓଡିଶା)୨୦୦୭ରୁ ୨୦୧୧ ଯାଏ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଖଣି ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସମୟରେ ଅନିୟମିତତା ହୋଇଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଲାଇସେନ୍ସ ପ୍ରଦାନରେ ନିୟମ ଉଲ୍ଲଙ୍ଘନ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ରାଜ୍ୟର ୨୮ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର କ୍ଷତି ହୋଇଥିଲା।ତାମିଲନାଡୁର କ୍ଷମତାସୀନ ଡିଏମକେର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ତଥା ରାଜ୍ୟର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କେ ପୋନମୁଡୀଙ୍କ ଘରେ ହଠାତ୍ ରେଡ୍ କରିଛି ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତନ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶାଳୟ ବା ଇଡି। ତାଙ୍କ ଘରେ ସମେତ ଏକାଧିକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରେଡ୍ କରି ଇଡିର ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ନଗଦ ୭୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ଜବତ କରିଛନ୍ତି।ଏହା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୧୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କାର ବିଦେଶୀ ମୁଦ୍ରା ମଧ୍ୟ ରହିଛି । ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପୋନମୁଡୀଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟତୀତ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁଅ ତଥା ସାଂସଦ ଗୌତମ ସିଗାମଣିଙ୍କ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଠିକଣାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଇଡି ଛାନଭିନ କରିଛି।ଚେନ୍ନାଇ ଓ ଭିଲ୍ଲୁପୁରମ ଠାରେ ଥିବା ବାପ-ପୁଅଙ୍କ ଠିକଣାରେ ଆଜି ଏପରି ରେଡ୍ କରାଯାଇଛି। ତେବେ ଡିଏମକେ ଏହି ରେଡ୍କୁ ରାଜନୀତିକ ଆକ୍ରୋଶ ବୋଲି କହିଛି। ୭୨ ବର୍ଷୀୟ ପୋନମୁଡୀ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି Tirukkoyilur ନିର୍ବାଚନ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ବିଧାୟକ । ତାଙ୍କ ପୁଅ ଗୌତମ କାଲ୍ଲାକୁରିଚି ସିଟ୍ରୁ ଲୋକସଭାକୁ ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି।୨୦୦୭ରୁ ୨୦୧୧ ଯାଏ ପୋନମୁଡୀ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଖଣି ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଥିଲେ। ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଅନିୟମିତତା ହୋଇଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଲାଇସେନ୍ସ ପ୍ରଦାନରେ ନିୟମ ଉଲ୍ଲଙ୍ଘନ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ୨୮ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର କ୍ଷତି ହୋଇଥିଲା। ତେଣୁ ପୋନମୁଡୀ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁଅଙ୍କ ମନି ଲଣ୍ଡରିଂ ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ କରିଛି।ପ୍ରଥମେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ପୁଲିସ୍ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସହ ଜଡ଼ିତ ଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ମାମଲା କରିଥିଲା। ସେହିପରି ଜୁନ ମାସରେ ଟ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରୋକ ଲଗାଇବାକୁ ଗୌତମ କରିଥିବା ଆବେଦନ ଉପରେ ମାଡ୍ରାସ ହାଇକୋର୍ଟ ରୋକ ଲଗାଇବାକୁ ମନା କରିଦେଇଥିଲେ।ଏବେ ହଠାତ୍ ଇଡି ସକ୍ରିୟ ହେବା ସହ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁଅଙ୍କ ଘରେ ରେଡ୍ କରିଛି। ଡିଏମକେ ସଭାପତି ତଥା ତାମିଲନାଡୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଏମକେ ଷ୍ଟାଲିନ ଆଜି ବେଙ୍ଗାଲୁରୁରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ବିରୋଧୀଙ୍କ ବୈଠକରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ତାଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରିମଣ୍ଡଳର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତାଙ୍କ ଘରେ ରେଡ୍ କରାଯାଇଛି। ତେଣୁ ଏହା ପଛରେ ରାଜନୀତିକ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ରହିଛି ବୋଲି ଡିଏମକେ କହିଛି।ଏହାପୂର୍ବରୁ ଇଡି ଷ୍ଟାଲିନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରିମଣ୍ଡଳର ସଦସ୍ୟ ସେନ୍ଥିଲ ବାଲାଜୀଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗିରଫ କରିଥିଲା।
Chennai(Samrudha Odisha )The ED raids are being conducted at the premises of K Ponmudy and his MP son Gautham Sigamani’s premises in state capital Chennai and in Villupuram.The money laundering case is linked to alleged irregularities when Ponmudy was the state mining minister (between 2007 and 2011). The two political leaders were alleged of violation of quarry licence conditions leading to loss of about ₹28 crore to the exchequer. A similar action was taken by the ED against senior DMK leader and TN Transport Minister Senthil Balaji.In response to the ED raids, the ruling party of the state, DMK called the action to be a part of ‘political vendetta’. The 72-year-old DMK Minister is an MLA from the Tirukkoyilur Assembly seat in Villupuram district. His 49-year-old son Sigamani is a Member of Parliament representing the Kallakurichi seat. Money laundering case during Ponmudy’s tenure as minning minister.The money laundering case delves into the contract and transactions done on behalf of Ponmudy during his tenure as the state mining minister (between 2007 and 2011), Moreover, there were allegations of violation of quarry licence conditions leading to loss of about ₹28 crore to the exchequer.A complaint was filed by the Tamil Nadu police to probe these charges of alleged corruption against the minister and those linked to him. In June this year, the Madras High Court in June refused to stay the trial in the case on request by Sigamani in his relief petition.
Accusations against DMK’s K Ponmudy
The state minister is accused of obtaining mining /quarry licences for his son and other family members. These licencees are alleged to have quarried red sand beyond the permissible limit.
